our niece

Fooled you again?

Fletcher is just in love with Beans, Sean's sister Katie's dog. Fletcher is all kinds of excited that Beans will once again be coming for a "sleepover" Thanksgiving weekend.

Katie was kind enough to send Fletcher Beans' school picture - she's a therapy dog and goes with Katie to work most every day. Isn't she cute? She looks like she's posing. He got that in the mail yesterday and just loved it.

What's funnier is that Fletcher got his order form and proofs of his own school pictures today. Looks like we'll have to be sure and get an extra one to give to Beans :)
The other photo is of Fletcher and Beans from her last sleepover.

celebration meatball

Yesterday we also had a great time helping celebrate Anthony and Teddy Rezac's 3rd birthday (aka the meatball twins)! Fletcher and Dominic (the birthday boys' older brother) managed to escape the camera, but here a photo of Maeve with Caroline (the birthday boys' older sister) and a pic of DJ, Lisa and their birthday boys.

fletch the builder

Fletcher got on his Bob the Builder gear today to watch the show on TV. He was very proud of how cool he looked...

mostly famous and larger than life!

A friend told us that Maeve's beautiful shining face was on the wall at Child Savings Institute. Their remodel there is simply amazing. Of course we were there every day for 5 years in the old building and missed out on the new fancy place, but Maeve is still a part of it apparently. Right inside the two+ story glass entrance is a beautiful wall montage of photos, one of which is one of our favorites of Maeve and her best bud from day care, James. This photo was used awhile ago in some postcard flyers they sent out about CSI. Check it out!

Touch a Truck

We went to First Data's parking lot yesterday afternoon for CSI's Touch a Truck. Lots of fun! The kids were most frightened by the fire safety trailer where at the end of the learning, they piped in fake smoke and we all had to get low to the ground and crawl out. The favorites seemed to be the ambulances, limos and remote control racing/jumping cars. Here are a few pics.

basement follow up

Well, just a quick post for a basement update. We don't have all the pix back up on the wall, but for now - here's what the "hulk room" looks like now (it's hulk green). Still a work in progress!
