we walked, because we could

Sean and I and the kids participated in the Omaha ALS walk on Saturday. Thank you to all our friends and family who generously donated money to support the fight against ALS. We were on Pat and Pam Trvdik's team (P Squared), which raised over $10,000 - one fifth of the $50,000 raised by all teams combined in this Omaha walk.

Sean's good friend from high school, Pat Trvdik, was diagnosed over a year ago with ALS. He is such a great guy. He was recently medically discharged from the Army at the rank of Major. He served in Iraq. He ran the ROTC program at Creighton prior to that. He is a graduate of Benedictine college and has great wife, Pam, who hails from Mississippi. They are great people with great friends and family. We will continue to pray for them.

Enjoy these photos from the walk. We had a great turnout, great weather, and a great time. Thank you again to all who donated. If you haven't yet, and would like to - here is a link to do so online http://web.alsa.org/site/TR/Walks/KeithWorthingtonWalk?px=1950250&pg=personal&fr_id=3987
